Photo a day

Well I am spent the night trying to figure out how to get pictures off my camera and onto the interweb without getting Thomas to do it for me. I am happy to say tht I have figured it out along with learning to resize so they are interweb size not 4MB and also how to get rid of red eye yay for me!

I am going to do Photo a Day for 2009 as I think it is a fab idea to keep a photo diary of what has happened in the year and if it is good enough I might get it put into a book like Nichola has.

Avoiding Christmas Cards and Wrapping

I really should be writing out cards and wrapping presents but I really can’t be bothered hehe.  I spent weeks writing invitation cards and thank you cards that the thought of writing them all out again bores me.  I’ll write them in a bit.  I also can’t be bothered wrapping presents as I am rubbish at it.

Today was mixed with excitement and sadness.  I am going to be moving to work mainly in woolton which is something that I have been working towards.  An adventure to try and get the department up and running and to be responsible for myself and not spending most of my time helping everyone sort their shite.

I was packing my files into boxes and the girls were saying it was sad.  I don’t think I am actually sad.  I go to work and for the most time I seem to be talking and messing and then freaking out at the amount of work I have to do.  I will be able to spend the time doing work and have two days a week in Liverpool to catch up on things.

2009 is going to be a good year in many ways.  This growing up malarkey is actually fun at times.

I think I am going to try and do a photo a day this year.  I love looking at the flickr streams of what people are doing.  I would love to have something to look back at over the year.  Though I wonder if I would actually stick to it or get bored after 3 weeks hehe

Well I suppose that I should go and write these cards out for people.

I have been writing this with windows live writer as messenger told me to download it but I have just realised that I have no idea how to publish the post… if you’re reading this then I figured it out.

Well I have had a lovely weekend.

Friday was Darren's wedding were there was plenty of wine drinking, dancing, running around with a headless bride balloon and hijacking the DJ so we could do karaoke. Well the bride and groom did vanish around 10.30 and three quarters of the guests had gone by 11.15 :)

Last night was Christmas drinks with my lovely friends. It was odd thinking that the last time we all got together was Tom's birthday. Everyone is growing up and have other things to do than go to the swan and K every weekend.

2009 will be the year to get my arse into gear with the house. The living room is now officially decorated hoorah. I just need to hang something on the chimney breast. I have been looking for a nice print but the ones I like seem to be hundreds of pounds. I was thinking I might get a plan clip frame and put black paper in it and choose my favourite pictures of friends and family and have them all smiling at me.

Only 2 1/2 days left in work! It is so exciting to think that next year I will be based In woolton and simply helping in Liverpool. Got to make an effort to work hard and get the office up and running. It is exciting to have a challenge but part of me feels bad that in my mind I am hoping to become pregnant sometime in the near future.

Into cycle two now and time for the JK method!

Night night world!

Charidee and Christmas Countdown

Well today I didn't do any work as I went out with some the peeps in work to help raise money for Henshaws Society for the Blind. We had to try and sell competitions entries for people to win an x type Jaguar that had been donated to the charity. It was a fun time and part of me wishes that I worked for a charity to make me feel like I was making a difference each day.

The next few days are going to be manic with people wanting to sort out Christmas contact. It makes my head hurt this time of year and maybe it is the reason that I've not been Christmassy for the past few years. Ah well only 6 1/2 work days left!!

I am looking forward to the holidays 12 long days of interrupted doing what the hell we want! Long sleeps, playing games, eating loooooooooooooooooads of food and spending time with people that we've not seen in ages. It is also time to watch loads of rubbish TV, I'll have to pick up a TV guide so I can circle all the rubbish I want to watch.

Ah well time to go and write my Christmas list of all the presents I still have left to buy, I am so very disorganised!!

Hangover Hell

Well work has been horrible at the moment. I really need to just get a lottery win and then leave and spend a lot of time on the beach writing books hehe

Friday was family department Christmas night out and it was brilliant! We had far too much to drink which I paid for yesterday. Good God how on earth do people cope with hangovers, they are hideous. I couldn't move all day long! I am hoping that this is a one off occurrence and that it is not a sign that I am growing up.

I did realise on Friday that I'm not as young as I once was. Whilst hiding from the rain waiting for Paul to collect us we were talking to a boy who thought that we looked fab (running around with tinsel scarfs and oversized Christmas present bows on our heads!) anyway I have no idea how we got onto ages but he was 16 and a I realised that we had been out to places were people are now going to be 10 years younger than me. I know I am by no means getting old but blimey I'm not 20 anymore.

I put the tree up tonight in an effort to feel christmassy, I am still in denial that Christmas is only 12 days away (PANIC!) I am in fact loving the fact I only have 7 1/2 work days left in 2009! Amazing!

Well I'm not pregnant yet, which I knew I wouldn't be hehe but this means I can have a few drinks over chrimble and 2009 will be the year to get pregnant (hopefully). I can't believe there is only 2 1/2 weeks left of this year, it has gone so fast! Ah well it means that I will have to start thinking about my 2008 round up post :)

Friday tomorrow wooohooo

I am in need of a weekend, though this weekend will be a cleaning weekend.

The bathroom is coming along well. We have a new bath though no running water in and the walls have been tiled. it looks so much brighter and a lot more room now the random door frame and wall has gone.

We haven't got a sink in the bathroom at the mo and the toilet doesn't flush haha. Hopefully tomorrow will be new sink and new toilet in. I love coming home each night to see what has changed.

All the work has made the entire house dusty with a layer of white everywhere. trying to clean it is easier said than done as it i back again after I get in from work with the men destroying walls :) There shouoldn;t be anymore dust after tomorrow as I think it is a case of putting niceness in now.

We will have to get flooring and strip the walls and paper them. I wonder how long it will take us to do that hehe

The house is getting somewhere now which is exciting.

I really need to get started with Christmas. I have only got two presents and I don't actually know who they are for haha

I am watching celeb thingy and I've not watched it and never realised how fast it has gone as there is only four of them in. Thursdays are ruuuuubbish for telly. I need to get a hobby for Thursday nights. I am getting addicted to Fable II but Thomas is playing on his x box o I can't booo.

Ah well that is all for now :)

Bathroom

Well the bathroom has been started woohoo. Ceiling has been pulled down and the stupid wall and random second door frame have gone.

There will be a week of work and crap but I will finally have a lovely new suite and can have a lovely bath yay. Then I can get ready for Christmas.

Not much to say today as I am exhausted and I am just going to stare at the telly until 10 o'clock and then go to bed :)

MP3 Poem

I got this off Skippy and had to have a go. Put your music player on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first twenty songs. Post the poem that results. The first line of the twenty-first song is the title.

He Comes From a Foreign Place

It's not her fault that she's so irresistible
When I look into your eyes
You are an obsession
I remember way back way back when
Ain't another woman that can take your spot my

In Southern Mexico
The Candy Lady said knock knock knock
Do you remember the good years in Canaan
In the quickness of our haste
Now the skies could fall

Dusting off your saviour
We Built this city
You could never know what it's like
I watch how the moon sits in the sky
Fell in love with a boy

Everything is good
The situation is getting boring
White Man came across the Sea
You took a piece of my heart
Keep you in the dark

Today is waste of space Monday and I am glad that it is over. I was sat at my desk today pondering biros. Where do all the pens go? I had four biros on my desk today and at various points of the day they all vanished. One went and I only put it down to reply to an email and like 10 secnonds later it wasn't there!!

My friend Sam had a baby on Saturday YAY. Lilly Grace, born three weeks early weighing 5 pounds 10 ounces. I am waiting patiently for the photo but she has gone off line booooo.

So the bathroom work starts tomorrow HOORAY! byebye horrible bathroom hello a week of dust and mess hehe I can;t wit to have a long hot bath and the new bath :)

Well that is all for now short and sweet as I need to get some sleep as I am shattered.

Six months and all shopped out

Well today is six months married and I am still not quite used to being Mrs Scholes. I am fed up of people asking me how married life is as well. I love Thomas to bits but we have been together for so long and lived together for several years that's it not that different.

I started my Christmas shopping today. at this rate the on;y person getting presents is me haha I bought a dress for Christmas Day or boxing day, a bracelet, a shirt for work and a couple of jumpers. I did buy some smellies that will work well for presents for someone.

I should really get a wiggle on it is the first of December tomorrow. YaaaY! That means I can eat a chocolate a day from the Advent Calendar :) I am looking forward to decorating the house but have to wait for the bathroom to be finished first.

I am watching last nights strictly Come dancing, I love the dresses that they wear. I would love to have a go at doing all of these dances. The one thing ruins it though are the awful singers, some times they can sing well but most of the time they are terrible.

Ah well now I have to decide whether I am going to make tea and do some Ironing or play Fable II, I have come quite addicted to that game hehe

Talking to myself...

There is no one online and my H is playing Street Fighter with random x box and Internet wierdies. So i thought that I would write my third post of the evening hehe

I am watching Xtra Factor and it is so very disturbing tonight. I love Holly Willabooby. JLS in school uniforms, just wrong. I have had a bit of a temperature today so clearly there is something wrong with me because I am kinda liking Myley Cyrus... (HELP) The temperature was alright though as I wandering around outside this morning with my coat open and not cold at all and just a t shirt on hehe

I never mentioned before but we are finally getting our bathroom done this week WOOHOO They are starting on Tuesday by destroying the bathroom first, pulling down the ceiling and knocking down the wall and getting rid of the hideous grey suite. Lovely white suite in the living room should hopefully be in over the weekend, I can't wait for a long hot bath in a bathroom without fear that the day I am in the bath is the day that the ceiling is about to collapse on me hehe

Well I think I might call it a day and go upstairs and what the Tudors :)

At least talking to myself I get to talk without interruptions haha

Bye Bye Ruth

Well I never thought that Ruth would go. I think that Alexandra has got it in the bag now.

Cycle 1 CD12

Well this weekend Thomas and I have been married for 6 moths woohoo. We're still in love and I am very happy.

This weekend is also a fertility weekend and I actually OV tomorrow on our anniversary so maybe it is a sign. Though I am realistic that this isn't going to happen on the first cycle. Though it's not going to stop me being impatient on the 2WW.

I need to go shopping tomorrow to buy some lovely clothes for the Christmas period and also start buying Christmas presents. Also I am probably going to buy some clear blue pregnancy tests hehe having looked around I found that they can be the best for an early indication and I need to test on day 10 of the 2ww as it is work night out on the 12th so I need to see if I am going to be drinking or not :)

The audit was fine I felt that the interview went well and I hope that we pass as a firm and make the Partners happy so our life is better.

Well that is all for now I think time to see who is getting kicked off x factor. I wanted Eoghan to go but I think poor Diana is about to go :(

Cycle 1 CD6

Well this weekend has been wasted as I went out on Friday with the girls from work and it was soooo much fun. I was a naughty wife though and never came home until 11.30 the next day whoops. My neck is still saw now hehe

It appears that my monthly friend has gone away and looking at the calender it makes you realise how hard getting pregnant can be. There are only a few days each month that it could actually happen! For cycle one it ha[[ens to be on our six month anniversary so next weekend should be a nice one.

I say should but our bathroom roof is leaking AGAIN and we are supposed to be getting our bathroom fitted the end of this week. This week is going to be a nightmare! Must look on the positive side of things (I CAN'T)

We are being audited in work this week and I have been selected, I might cry. Wednesday is the day and I am pooping myself.

Bah stress is bad when trying to conceive so its not looking good is it? haha

Ah well that is all for now I am sure that I will be writing on here to say how I buggered the audit and lost the firm its accreditation.

Bathrooms in livingrooms and period pains.

Well today has been a pain in the arse.

We have bought a new suite from Rapid as we are finally getting our bathroom done in a couple of weeks YAY! They were supposed to call my mum this morning with a time they were coming to my house. At 1 o'clock after several calls to Rapid I get a call from the delivery blokes saying they are outside my house d'oh.

Thankfully I was working in woolton office today and got a lift home to let them in and then back to work again. Now I have a suite in the livingroom.

Work is OK and I am getting to spend an extra day a week in woolton which is fabulous. I am trying to think of ways to market the family department in the woolton office. Part of me feels a little weary about trying for a baby with work the way it is at the moment. I need to work hard to get my billing up and figures in place so that I will be safe if I have to take maternity leave next year.

After yesterdays post I can safely say that the glee of getting my period yesterday is well and truely gone and all I have is mild grumyness and pains.

Ah well rubbish TV is spoilt tonight as there is friendly between Germany and England. I half wanted to watch the Scotland and Argentina to hear the Scots sing the Maradona song.

Day One

Well I thought that I would set up a blog to put down my thoughts and feelings.

After almost 6 months of marriage me and my lovely hubby have decided that we are going to try for a baby. My friend Skip is almost 20 weeks which is making me sooo broody. The addiction that is facebook also has so many photos of friends who have gorgeous children.

I have been monitoring my cycles and I have been waiting patiently for my period to start so that we can officially start TTC. Today is the day cycle day 1 (CD1). I have never been so happy to have my period haha

I am hoping that this blog quickly turns into a blog about my pregnancy but I know I have to be realistic and may be monitoring my cycles for a a long time yet.

Well that is that for now and I will keep my little blog updated.
